Hi there!
I haven't had a very productive week unfortunately, but today, I decided to get my inspiration going again by doing something Christmassy.....so, I put a DVD on...The Santa Clause, and went into crafting mode!!
I decided to make some little gift boxes and used the new template from
Lauren Meader called
'Tucked Away'. She has made 2 sizes, and I made the small one....which is so CUTE!!!(The photos are abit naff...sorry!)
I made 2 boxes and 2 cards to go with them...
I used a good Christmas colour in Real Red CS, and used some of the paper from the
'I Wish' set (P73 in catalogue!) - I had done a Mini Scrapbook Album class using this set and really liked the papers an stickers - and luckily had some left!
For this one, I used Mellow Moss CS, and some of the retired 2007 papers 'Wintergreen'. I used Certainly Celery ribbon and one of the buttons from the Soft Subtles set.
The sentiment is stamped using the
Season of Joy stamp set - I just love this set as it has so many lovely stamps...and it was this set that made me join Stampin Up! My lovely SU mum
Jules did a party at my house and we used this set to make a card, and she brought lots of cards, 3D projects which she had made using the set......and I bought it!A not so good picture showing the inside of the box!
Well, that's it for today - but having a full day tomorrow in my workroom, as need to prepare for my Fun and Fast Notes Class on September 12th.....only 1 place left now!!
Enjoy your Bank Holiday weekend..
